Nigerian TikTok personality Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has fired back at comedian and content creator Carter Efe following comments about his marriage to fellow creator Jarvis.

The latest exchange has reignited attention around the relationship between the two online personalities, with Peller taking exception to suggestions that social media pressure influenced his decision to marry Jarvis.

Carter Efe recently addressed the couple’s relationship during an interview with Madam Joyce, where he suggested that the enormous attention surrounding their romance may have contributed to their decision to take the relationship to the next level.

“The internet is crazy. It pressured them to marry,” Carter said.

He also spoke about his absence from Peller and Jarvis’ wedding, claiming that the couple intentionally excluded him because of their perception of his relationship with them.

However, Peller has rejected Carter’s narrative and expressed frustration over what he described as the comedian’s repeated involvement in his personal affairs.

Responding during a live session, Peller said he respected Carter but questioned why the comedian continued to comment on his relationship with Jarvis.

“Carterefe, I respect you a lot. If not, I would have ended your career a long time ago. I’ll be on my own, you’ll be coming for me and my wife,” Peller said.

The young creator further alleged that Carter had previously advised him to end his relationship with Jarvis, suggesting that the comedian had repeatedly positioned himself within matters concerning their relationship.

“You are always advising me to leave Jarvis, and you like competition too much,” Peller said.

Peller’s response suggested that his frustration extends beyond Carter’s latest remarks, with the TikTok star appearing particularly displeased by what he considers persistent commentary about his marriage.

The heated exchange subsequently moved beyond the couple’s relationship, as Peller brought up aspects of Carter Efe’s personal life while defending his own position.

Peller questioned Carter’s approach to relationships and fatherhood, contrasting it with how he said he would handle his own responsibilities.

“Bro, if I don give my wife pregnant, you go look how I go take care of my own child,” he said.

The TikTok star also made additional allegations concerning Carter’s conduct during a trip to the United Kingdom. However, those claims remain allegations made by Peller and have not been independently verified.

Peller ended his response with another pointed remark directed at Carter, accusing him of allowing competition to influence his dealings with other creators.

“Competition will kill you,” he said.

Carter Efe’s original comments have since generated fresh debate among fans, particularly over the extent to which social media can influence the private decisions of public figures.

For content creators whose relationships unfold before millions of followers, personal milestones can quickly become public entertainment, with fans often developing strong opinions about who they should date, marry or separate from.
