Popular Nigerian streamer and content creator Peller, alongside his fiancée Jarvis, has sparked widespread conversations online after opening up about the unique promise they made to each other regarding faithfulness in their relationship.

“I told her to let us do it. She didn’t want to do it initially. I wanted us to cut ourselves with a knife. I saw it on TikTok that people do it and there’s nothing wrong. If it’s done, nobody will cheat, and if anybody cheats, something will happen to the person,” he said.

However, Jarvis made it clear that the proposal was never accepted and that the pair did not go through with any form of blood covenant.

She emphasized that their only covenant is the one they believe they share with God, distancing themselves from practices they consider unnecessary.

“The only blood covenant we have is with God. All those ones are not something we should be doing. But the reassurance and commitment are there,” Jarvis said.

She further explained that her earlier comments about death should not be interpreted literally but rather as a reflection of the seriousness of the promises they have made to each other.

According to her, the strength of their relationship comes from mutual trust, prayer and a shared desire to remain faithful.

“We love each other, the commitment is there, and there’s no reason to cheat. We just pray to God that nothing like that will happen by His grace,” she added.
